Why Nuwa is attending
UnitedXR Europe brings together the global XR community for presentations, case studies, and networking. We aim to share VAARHeT research outcomes demonstrating voice-activated heritage applications validated with museum visitor populations, explore partnership opportunities with organisations deploying extended reality technologies in cultural preservation and education contexts, and connect with XR professionals interested in heritage sector deployment experiences. The event offers access to XR practitioners from across Europe, providing platform for discussing practical heritage XR implementation experiences and addressing technology adoption barriers facing cultural institutions. We have case study materials available for discussion from Āraiši Ezerpils Archaeological Park validation covering AR welcome avatar, VR archaeological education, and AR live translation applications.
We plan to engage with XR developers and researchers interested in cultural heritage applications, learn from deployment case studies across sectors potentially offering transferable lessons for museum technology contexts, and identify partnership opportunities with technology providers and heritage sector consultancies supporting institutional digital transformation initiatives whilst contributing to discussions on European XR community development and best practice sharing.
Who we want to meet
We are interested in connecting with XR developers, designers, and creative technologists, researchers exploring immersive applications, and organisations piloting extended reality solutions. EU project coordinators seeking consortium partners will find our work relevant, as will enterprise adopters evaluating XR for training, simulation, or visualisation.
What we will be exploring
Our focus at UnitedXR Europe 2025 includes collaboration pathways with European XR practitioners and organisations, cross-sector applications of immersive technologies, emerging best practices for XR deployment, and partnership opportunities with technology providers and research networks that align with our development priorities.
