Nuwa presence
Nuwa plans to showcase two research-to-market pathways at VivaTech 2025 in Paris from 11-14 June, demonstrating European heritage and humanitarian XR innovation development. SimExBuilder commercial platform presents transition from CORTEX2-funded XRisis research (Grant 101070192) to sustainable enterprise serving global NGO sector, whilst Culturama Platform development trajectory illustrates VOXReality-funded VAARHeT research (Grant 101070521) informing cultural heritage immersive experience platform for European museum sector. Both pathways demonstrate successful EU cascade funding mechanisms catalysing commercially viable platform development with sustained social impact beyond grant periods, providing concrete evidence about innovation-to-market progression that European research programmes aim to enable. We engage startup ecosystem participants including venture investors, cultural sector decision-makers evaluating digital transformation strategies, European technology investment community interested in heritage preservation innovation, and corporate innovation managers exploring training and cultural technology partnerships. Case study materials available for discussion demonstrate practical deployment experiences addressing rural museum accessibility, multilingual visitor support, AI accuracy requirements for institutional credibility, and selective XR application value propositions across humanitarian and cultural heritage contexts.
Opportunities we are pursuing
At VivaTech 2025, we are pursuing venture investment discussions with investors interested in socially impactful technology companies delivering measurable outcomes aligned with ESG criteria and UN Sustainable Development Goals, strategic partnership exploration with established training technology companies potentially interested in licensing SimExBuilder capabilities or collaborating on market development, and corporate client engagement with multinational organisations evaluating XR training deployment for their global workforces. We seek connections with European innovation networks supporting research-to-market transitions where our CORTEX2 success story demonstrates effective public funding utilisation generating commercially viable outcomes with sustained social impact. Conversations around cross-sector applications in healthcare emergency preparedness, industrial safety training, and smart city crisis coordination will inform market expansion strategy beyond initial humanitarian focus whilst maintaining mission-driven positioning.
Who should connect
We welcome conversations with research institutions and innovation centres, organisations piloting immersive, AI, or digital twin technologies, and EU project coordinators seeking consortium partners. Technology providers developing humanitarian or cultural heritage solutions will find alignment with our work.
